About NDCCA

The North Dakota County Commissioners Association was established in 1905 to serve and support the interests of North Dakota's 231 county commissioners. The leadership has included many influential county government figures over the years. Most notably, former NDCCA president and Richland County Commissioner Kaye Braaten went on to serve as president of the National Association of Counties.

Governed by a 9-member board, the NDCCA conducts business 2 to 3 times a year. Each October, the NDCCA holds its annual business meeting during a statewide convention. Here the membership sets the legislative policy and elects its leadership for the coming year which helps to guide the efforts of the NDCCA.
